Transfer & Nonresident Requests

Student Transfer requests for 2010-11

Due to revised boundaries for junior highs and high schools in the Bethel School District, the deadline for accepting student transfer applications for the 2010-11 school year will be February 24 for current grades 6 to 12 and April 23 for grades K to 6. Requests received after the deadlines may not be considered until the district receives actual enrollment counts in September. A student transfer request form may be obtained from the district office or downloaded from the district's website.

Notification letters will be mailed by April 2 (secondary) or May 21 (elementary). Approval or denial of transfer requests will be based on established criteria outlined in board policy and procedure 3131 and 3141 for nonresidents. Parents will provide transporation for students who voluntarily attend a school outside their attendance area. For more information, call Debbie Almont at 683-6012 for secondary or Sandy Bradbeer at 683-6014 for elementary.
