Transfer & Nonresident Requests

Student Transfer requests for 2009-10

The district is accepting student transfer applications for the 2009-10 school year until March 20 for grades 7 to 12 and April 24 for grades K to 6. Requests received after the deadlines may not be considered until the district receives actual enrollment counts in September. A student transfer request form may be obtained from the district office or downloaded from the district’s website.

Notification letters will be mailed by April 24 (secondary) or May 22 (elementary). Approval or denial of transfer requests is based on established criteria outlined in board policy and procedure 131 and 3141 for nonresidents. Parents will provide transportation for students who voluntarily attend a school outside their attendance area. For more information, call 683-6012 for secondary or 683-6014 for elementary.
