This section will help answer some of the most frequently asked home schooling questions.

To home school your child, you must annually file a “Declaration of Intent” with the school district. This form indicates that you will be taking responsibility for your child’s education. The “Declaration of Intent” form must be returned to Challenger Secondary School by September 15th or within two weeks of the beginning of any public school quarter, trimester or semester. Copies of this form are available here.

If your child has previously attended a Bethel school, you will need to withdraw your student upon filing your “Declaration of Intent.”
