Online Learning

The district is currently offering two alternative options to classroom education through online instruction; Bethel Online Academy (BOA) and Bethel Elementary Learning Academy (BELA).

Bethel Elementary Learning Academy (BELA) | Website
BELA is a K-6 parent partnership program.  This alternative learning experience offers a blend of on and off-site instruction with certificated teacher support, online courses, and traditional curriculum to meet the unique and individual needs of students.  The school district is ultimately responsible for student learning.

Bethel Online Academy (BOA) | Website
The BOA is an online learning environment for students in grades 7 - 12; it makes use of curriculum created by instructors and various other courses offered by Plato and Advanced Academics. The program falls under the umbrella of Alternative Education. Students do their work primarily on the internet and maintain contact with adviser support. Unlike state-wide programs, each student in Bethel Online has an adviser to act as their education advocate and primary contact. Students can speak with their adviser by phone, email, or in person.
