Quality Teaching, Learning, and Assessment

  • Continue to connect classroom instruction and student performance to state standards

  • Provide a variety of opportunities to ensure that all students succeed
  • Use a wide range of assessments to diagnose and meet students’ learning needs
  • Hire and support highly qualified and professional staff
  • Support and retain staff with training and ongoing professional development

Communications and Connections

  • Strengthen family/school partnerships and community involvement
  • Involve site councils in the school improvement process
  • Promote business partnerships with the schools
  • Share information to enhance communication with a variety of groups
  • Use technology to increase communications among parents, staff, and students

Facilities and Operations

  • Improve the effectiveness of district programs and operations
  • Analyze cost/benefits when reviewing programs, processes, and equipment
  • Work with community and staff to address short and long-term facilities’ needs

The rapidly growing Bethel School District, will meet the challenges of a changing world by graduating students who are:

SLHS senior Cherelle Jackson - SLHS senior Cherelle Jackson has signed a letter of intent to wrestle at the Northwest Kansas Technical College in Goodland, Kansas. Tenth Annual Elementary Battle of the Books - Pioneer Valley took the title in this year's Elementary Battle of the Books! Camas Prairie came in second. Congrats to all who participated!
