Principal's Message

  • Principal’s Message

We had a fantastic first week of school! With the addition of 6th graders to our teams, over 25% of our students are participating in sports.

As always, if you have any questions, please let us know.

    Seth Humphrey, Principal

Attendance: A student who misses 10 days or more during a school year is 20 percent less likely to graduate from high school and 25 percent less likely to ever enroll in college. Preparing for success beyond high school begins now. Please contact us if you need help getting your student to school.

iPads: Over the last week, we have had several issues with being able to set up iPads properly. Thank you for your patience while we worked through those issues. We now have nearly 90% of students with an iPad in their hands. If your student is not one of them, Please complete the Hold Harmless and Coverage forms. Or students may pick it up in the library. Payments may be made at the ASB office from 7-8, 10:30-12, and 2-2:30 only. We highly encourage all students to have iPad coverage, but it is not required.  If that is not doable right now, you can choose to decline coverage and then buy it at any time throughout the year after proof of the iPad being in good condition.

Update contact information: If you have a new phone number or email address, please update your information through Family Access.

Student Drop Off/Pick-Up Reminders: Remember that students are to be dropped off in the drop off lane only. Please do not drop off students in the parking lot areas. We have already had several near misses.

Accident and Insurance Forms: Your child will have this form on Monday for you to complete. Please ask for it and return it to the school no later than Friday, Sept 22.

Picture Day: School pictures will be taken on Thursday, Sept 21. Picture packet purhStudents will receive their Student ID at that time. Students are expected to keep their ID cards with them at all times on campus.
