Principal's Message

  • Principal’s Message 9/23/19

Classes are really getting going. Please make sure your student brings their iPads to school fully charged as they are being used in nearly all classes.

    Seth Humphrey

    Principal, LMS

PICTURES:  We will be doing picture make-ups on Friday this week. All students who did not get pictures done on Get Your Stuff day are expected to take a picture for student IDs. If you purchased pictures and were not satisfied with them, a retake may be done as well.

CANVAS:  This is the online course we used in many of our classes. As a parent, you can be an observer and see everything your student is doing and whether or not they’ve submitted assignments. Just click on the link to find out how.

BOOSTER CLUB: We are holding our inaugural meeting Thursday October 3rd at 4:30pm in our Commons. Please join us.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED (repeat):  If you are interested in volunteering at Liberty Middle School (even if it is behind the scenes) please contact Stephanie Lewis.

    • New roofs, more portables, and gallons and gallons of paint--This was a busy summer for our Construction Department, as they took on and completed a wide variety of maintenance projects to keep our students and staff safe. Learn more about all the great work they did here:

    • ABC Day – October 5 at GKHS--Mark your calendars! Our 11th Annual All Bethel Community Day (ABC Day) is just around the corner on Saturday, October 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Graham-Kapowsin High School.

    • Challenger Construction Update--Construction crews are making amazing progress on what will eventually be a new Challenger High School. This phase of construction, which is not funded by our recently-passed bond, is adding an 8,000 square foot building. Check out our live construction camera here →

    • Pierce Transit in Bethel: Update--Superintendent Tom Seigel reports that the Pierce County Council will be meeting with Pierce Transit about the possibility of expanding services in Bethel. This is in response to our School Board’s resolution asking for expanded bus service in our area to better serve our community.
