DECA is hosting our first Blood Drive of the Year!! It will be held on January 31st, 2023 from 8 am - 2 pm. Sign up at the table next to the student store during lunch!! EACH DONATION SAVES AT LEAST 3 LIVES!!!

Have you ever wondered what an AP Class was? What AP classes do we have at Bethel? Have you ever thought about attending college one day? Then you should definitely enroll in at least ONE AP Class next year!! Come to the Cookies and Hot Cocoa AP Open House on Tuesday, January 31st, after school from 2:30 to 4:30 in Room 116. All the AP teachers and subjects will be there to answer your questions. There are so many Great AP Classes to take next year and enrollment is in a few weeks. Stop by and say hello and grab a cookie!

Can you juggle, sing, dance, play an instrument, or perform magic tricks? Do you or someone you know have any other talents to showcase? If so, sign up for Bethel High School’s 2023 Talent Show! Scan the QR codes on posters around the building to sign up for auditions. We hope to see you there!

Come join ASL Club after school on Thursdays in Room 208. We play games and make new friends while practicing our ASL. Make sure to join the fun in Room 208 on Thursdays at 2:15pm.

Are you ready to play the greatest game ever invented? No, we’re not talking about Clash Royale, we are talking about Chess. The game of Kings. It doesn’t matter if you’re already a grand master, or if you’re just starting. Come on over to room 218 after school every Thursday to get your chess on!

Calling all artists! The art and tech fair will be here and we’d love to have your art submissions! If you have art you’d like to have considered for the district art show, please bring it to Mrs. Jolly in room 217 no later than Friday, February 17th. You do not have to be enrolled in an art class to participate, all art will be considered!

Do you have an interest in becoming a writer? Do you love storytelling? Are you a book lover? Cavalcade of Authors is coming in May! You can meet your favorite authors, attend workshops, and browse popular titles at the pop-up store. Stop by the library to get more information! Sign-up closes January 30th!

The library is hosting Blind Date with a book! Stop by the library before school or during lunch to read the hints and find your new favorite book! Titles rotate daily. If you don’t see anything of interest, stop by for another day or look at our displays of new books. We have tons of new titles in popular genres; Thrillers, Mystery, Horror and Romance!

Pierce County library is hosting Our Own Expressions, a Teen writing and Art contest. The contest ends February 28th! BHS has had several student winners in the past. You can have the chance to win some cash and get your work published. For more information or to pick up your entry form see the library!
