Principal's Message

  • Thank you, all, for a great year!  As I come to the end of my first year as principal, I want to say how much i enjoyed meeting so many of you, learning about our school and community.  I've met many good people; I feel blessed to be here.  Some things we did together include our first Sentinel Day of Service, where students, staff, and parents joined us to care for our neighborhood.  The peacefulness of a monotonous task like gardening in community is best!  We held our first Decision Day assembly where we acknowledged and celebrated our seniors' post-high school plans.  It made my heart full to see students share their next steps.  We held our first Saturday Scholars for students to have an opportunity to catch up, study, and be scholars in community with one another.  Over 100 students attended!  We will continue to offer this opportunity next year.  I look forward to next year and hope to hear form you about what you appreciate and how we can be better.  I will be around this summer, so feel free to schedule some time to chat.
