• Bethel High School

Bethel High School opened in 1952, making it the oldest of the district's four high schools. Bethel High has seen an enormous amount of history during its first 65 years, with countless politicians, athletes and academic all-stars passing through its classrooms and hallways. The school has also seen its fair share of changes over the years. In 1971 BHS added a new gym, library and cafeteria, and eight years later the school got a new fine arts complex. In 1981 an electrical fire damaged a portion of the campus, and in 1989 the school was modernized.
