Minimum Baseline Employment Criteria

Bethel Teacher
- Bachelor's degree
- Completion of a state-approved teacher preparation program
- If already have bachelor's degree, candidates can enroll in a 'cert only' or master's program to obtain their teaching credential

Instructional Paraeducator
Must be at least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent; and have
- Received a passing grade on the ParaPro Assessment; or
- An associate of arts degree; or
- Earned 72 quarter or 48 semester credits at an institution of higher education (100 level and above); or
- Completed a registered apprenticeship program.

School Nurse
- BSN (BA of Science in Nursing) degree
- Washington State Nursing License
- Washington State ESA School Nurse certificate

Bus Driver
- Complete Driver Training Program with BSD
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) -- can be obtained via BSD training
