• Welcome to middle school in Bethel School District.

    As part of the process, we are asking for your assistance in filling out this registration information for your son or daughter. This information will be used as we put together the building schedule for the 2022 - 2023 school year.

    The 6th - 8th grade middle school configuration allows teachers to work together in teams helping young adolescents transition from elementary school and then prepare for the transition to high school. It is a research-based approach providing a relevant curriculum and essential learning processes that are developmentally appropriate for middle school aged students.

    Working in a team environment, teachers will get to know their students’ developmental uniqueness while providing an integrated learning experience across all disciplines that is diverse and challenging. Middle school is also a time of exploration of new subjects.

    To facilitate this, our middle schools offer two exploratory rotations in addition to the core classes: one in Fine Arts and one in Career and Technical Education (CTE). Fine Arts classes are defined as art, theatre and music.  

    Students may be placed in additional mathematics and/or reading help classes based upon their qualifying test scores for prior grade academic progress. 

    To complete the registration, choose the form for your grade to the left. Please select which Fine Arts rotation your student will take; either year-long Band/Choir/Orchestra or the Fine Arts rotation. We look forward to our continued work with you and your student.
