The PC Networking and Hardware Repair Summer School course is designed for students who are interested in information technology but have limited technical knowledge of computing systems. Students learn foundational concepts related to computer hardware and software, networking, databases, programming, information systems, and data security. The course includes a number of simulated hands-on labs to reinforce the concepts students are learning.
The course is divided into four main sections.
- Introduction to Computers
- Databases and Programming
- Information Systems and Security
Students will need access to the internet from a PC, Mac or Chromebook as well as an E-mail account that they can access regularly. Note: IPads WILL NOT be able to be used in this course as they can not access the simulations.
