TRANSFER REQUESTS FOR 2021-22
First consideration deadline for accepting student transfer requests for the 2021-22 school year will be March 15, 2021 for grades 6 through 12. Requests received after the deadline may not be considered until the week of August 23. Requests submitted after August 23 will be reviewed after September 15 when actual enrollment counts are in. All transfer requests for 2021-22 will be done electronically.
If the request is submitted by March 15, parents will be notified by April 15 if the request has been approved or denied. Approval or denial of transfer requests will be based on established criteria outlined in board policy and procedure 3131 and 3141.
The elementary (K-5) transfer deadlines are as follows:
1st Round of Transfers
March 26: Parent Submission Deadline
April 15: Parents Notified Deadline
2nd Round of Transfers
May 27: Parent Submission Deadline
June 11: Parents Notified Deadline
3rd Round of Transfers
August 20: Parent Submission Deadline
August 27: Parents Notified Deadline
Parents will provide transportation for students who voluntarily attend a school outside their attendance area.

NOTE: A release form from your resident district must be submitted with all (K-12) Nonresident Transfer Request forms. When submitting a Secondary Nonresident Transfer Request, you must also attach a Verification of Student History (grades 7-12 only) in addition to the release from your resident district. If your student (grades 7-12) is currently attending a Bethel school, the Verification of Student History is not necessary.
