     Morning Announcements

    • Dance club is sponsoring a Hip Hop Dance Clinic led by a trained dancer on January 25th from 2-6 pm in the BHS gym. The cost is $17 and your ticket must be purchased by January 22nd in order to attend. This is a great way to improve your dance technique and learn a hip hop dance number that could be performed at the next pep assembly! (performing is not required) We’d love to see a large group from our school doing a killer number here at our school! Everyone is invited, so don’t be shy!
    • A new challenger approaches!  Gaming Guild meets Wednesdays in room 115.  Come on out and flex your gaming skills! Questions?  See Mr. Gardner or Quilici for details!!
    • Seniors - On the Spot Admission Opportunity for Eastern Washington University on January 16th. Sign up in the Counseling office or Career Center. Complete your EWU application online and meet with a representative from EWU to submit test scores, transcripts, and have a short interview.  If you meet their criteria you can be accepted on the spot! See Mrs. Lordahl for more information.
    • On Friday January 17th Pierce County Library will be hosting Books and Bites in the library during lunches.  Bring your lunch and enjoy snacks, book talks, and a chance to win prizes.
    • Cavalcade of Authors writing contest submissions are due by January 17th in the library. 
    • Remember Washington State History after school today in portable 1.  We start promptly at 2:15. Looking forward to seeing you there.
    • Seniors - Make sure your name is in the drawing for dinner and free Prom tickets.  Come to the District Financial Aid Workshop to complete your FAFSA or WASFA. It’s on Wednesday, January 15th from 5:00pm to 7:30pm at the Pierce County Skills Center. 
    • Did you know there are about 13,600 animal shelters across the U.S. managing the intake of about 7.6 million pets every year? We want to help.  We are looking to collect dry and wet dog and cat food, collars and toys to donate to these shelters. Drop off boxes are located in the main office, outside security, counseling office, attendance office, the library and portable 1. We need you to be a success.  Please donate today, Be a Hero and Feed Me-Ow ( pronounced like the cat sound).
    • This Friday we will have an assembly to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. wear tie dye to represent his dream of unity and equality.
    • Regular National Honor Society Wednesday meetings resume this week at 2:15-4:15 pm in room 103.
    • On Wednesdays during lunchtime the library is hosting Listening Lunches.  Each month will feature a different podcast. Bring your lunch and listen to this months featured podcast Lore today!
    • What the HECA not in DECA?!?!?!  Come and join the coolest club on Campus every Wednesday at 2:15 in room 122A.  Questions?? See Mrs. Pike
    • If you are interested in robotics and technology, please join the robotics club today after school in room 120.
    • Are you interested in broadening your mind about the world as a whole and educating others about different cultures? Then come join Heritage Club Tuesdays in Room 100.

Principal's Message

  • Principal's Message:

    Bethel High is a school with rich traditions in academics and extracurricular programs.  We encourage all students to become involved in school activities whether it's athletics or clubs, and make a commitment to academic excellence.  The staff at Bethel High School has set high standards and maintains the best educational environment for all students.
