Land Acknowledgement
We acknowledge that the Bethel School District resides on the traditional lands of the Nisqually, Steilacoom, and Puyallup Tribes. These lands are also known as "Incommon Lands" because they were shared lands. These tribes have lived on and cared for these lands and these waterways Since Time Immemorial, and continue to do so today. We make this acknowledgement to open a space of recognition, inclusion, and respect for our sovereign tribal partners and all indigenous students, families, and staff in our Bethel Community.
