Welcome to the Graham Elementary School Counseling Corner!

  • Welcome to the Graham School Counseling Office

My name is Mrs. Stacie Standerfer and I am your new School Counselor at Graham Elementary School. This is my fourth year as a School Counselor in Washington State. The School Counseling program at Graham Elementary School is geared toward meeting the social, emotional and academic needs of all students. My responsibility as your School Counselor is to be an advocate in the school for your student. School Counselors are certified and licensed educators with a minimum of a Master’s Degree in School Counseling.

School Counselors promote equity and access to rigorous educational experiences for all students. School Counselors also work to support safe learning environments and work to address the needs of all students through culturally relevant programs.

All students receive skills for social and academic success through our Second Step curriculum provided by our classroom teachers. To meet the needs of the whole child, the School Counseling program focuses on helping all students through social-emotional, academic and behavioral support at school. All school based counseling is short-term and solution focused. I also provide individual and small group counseling.

The best way to reach me at school is by e-mail. I am also available to meet with you and/or with your student’s classroom teacher by appointment. Looking forward to a great year with our Grizzlies.

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. Stacie Standerfer

    School Counselor, M.Ed.
