Hello Parents and GKHS Students,

Students who are taking a math course in the fall at GKHS are required to complete summer math work using an online program called IXL. You receive this IXL subscription FREE OF CHARGE!

This work will review basic skills needed in order to be successful in your up coming math course and in passing required Washington State End of Course assessments.

• The summer IXL assignment will go into the grade book as an assignment score, based on your Smart Scores.
• There will also be an IXL test that will go into the grade book to check your proficiency with the summer topics. Students must score at least an 80%.
