Bethel School District will follow the guidelines from the state department of health for outdoor sports. We recommend that we continue to wear masks at all times even as we follow the new guidelines.
- Low contact outdoor sports athletes allowed to remove facial coverings for training and competitions. Facial coverings must be worn by athletes when not actively training or competing. Coaches, trainers, and officials must wear face coverings at all times.
- Moderate contact outdoor sports athletes allowed to remove facial coverings for competitions. Facial coverings must be worn by athletes when training or when not actively competing in a game or match against another team or when on the bench waiting to play. Coaches, trainers, and officials must wear face coverings at all times.
Please see the attached chart as a quick reference. Again, while the district is following the new guidelines we recommend that face coverings are worn to ensure your sport will be able to continue to participate.
Updated Guidelines for SPECTATORS:
If there are bleachers available, please "keep your bottoms on the blue"
Tennis, Baseball and Fastpitch are limited to 100 spectators per event. You may choose to sit on a marked bleacher space or bring a chair or blanket and sit with your guests in a marked box. We are limited to a maximum of 6 persons per box. DO NOT sit in the boxes marked with an x. Those are needed to maintain social distancing.
Spectators must wear a mask at all times. Spectators are permitted at home and away games.
