A Message from Mr. Brauer
June 6th, 2019
As the days are quickly winding down, I want to thank students, parents and staff members for making the 2018-19 school year a success! We have concluded state testing earlier this month, which I am happy to share, went smoothly. Preliminary reports show another year of strong growth and achievement by our amazing Centennial Cubs.
A reminder that report cards will go home the last day of school with students. Included in this report card will be a welcome letter from your students’ 2019-2020 teacher. If you did not receive your report card on the last day of school, you can pick it up in the office prior to June 21st. Students with an outstanding library fine will not be issued a report card until the fine has been paid with the office.
I want to recognize Mrs. Tobin, our very own Centennial matriarch, who will be retiring after 38 years of teaching. Thank you, Mrs. Tobin for your dedication and contributions to Centennial Elementary and the Bethel School District. I also want to recognize Mrs. Craig, who is also retiring after 41 years of teaching. Thank you, Mrs. Craig for leading our band students and being an amazing advocate for the arts throughout her career in the Bethel School District. Both Mrs. Tobin and Mrs. Craig are valued and will be greatly missed.
I want to give a special thank you to all our staff for their commitment to the school and students at Centennial this past year.
Lastly, I would like to thank our 5th grade students. You have left your mark on the Centennial family. Thank you for all you have done for our school. I wish you the best moving forward in middle school. You will be missed!
Have a restful and relaxing summer,
