Message to Families

  • Message to families 10.14.2021

    Greetings Elk Plain Families,
Surprise, it’s a mid-week message from the Meanest Principal in Pierce County. I’ve just got a few things to put on your radar tonight.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, our production of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz will be postponed. The new dates for streaming will be released soon, we are planning to have the performance available to stream next week.

If you have already purchased a stream pass, do not worry. You will have multiple days to view the performance when it is ready to stream!
Thank you for your patience and flexibility during these challenging times.

    Stream Passes
Streaming Passes will be available for $12. Yes, that's right, only $12 for the whole family!

    Purchase your Stream Pass Here:

The PTA has also asked me to let you know that due to the Pandemic they will NOT be doing a drive through Halloween event. They ARE however, gratefully accepting donations of candy for goodie bags they’re preparing for students. Donated candy must be individually wrapped. They are also preparing allergy sensitive goodie bags so nut free products are particularly appreciated.

Last but not least, the PTA invites you to check out their Facebook Page as they are considering having a pumpkin carving contest. Also, the PTA Membership/Yearbook bundle is ending this coming Monday. If you haven’t done so yet I encourage you to sign up!

Future File: Next Thursday 10/21 is a half day early release for students. Teachers across the district will be working on grades and preparing for conferences the following week. Friday 10/22 there is no school for students. Teachers will be hard at it though!

The last thing for tonight is just another request to remind your kids to keep an extra mask with them and bring their water bottles.
