Principal's Message

  • Welcome Back!

We are so excited for our 2016-2017 school year! Our teachers have been in and out all summer getting prepared for a fabulous year of learning. Teaching teams just spent last week in our school district’s sponsored classes brushing up on researched-based highly effective teaching practices and collaborating around planning effective instruction that will push our students to be their very best.

We also have a few changes in our staff so we would like to welcome the following to our Grizzly Family:

Mrs. Lahti: Secretary to the Principal

    Mrs. Smith: Kindergarten teacher

    Mrs. McCarty: 1st grade teacher

    Mrs. Zampardo: 1st grade teacher

    Ms. Angeline: 2nd grade teacher

    Ms. King: 2nd grade teacher

    Mrs. Robertson: 3rd grade teacher

    Ms. Schibly: 5th grade teacher

Mrs. Green: Resource Room Para Educator

We are so excited to have these wonderful people as part of our staff. You will find them energetic, passionate and most of all caring about the students we serve.

Speaking of changes, we are thrilled to be adding an additional 15 minutes of recess to every grade level! With all that learning our kids are doing it’s great to give them an opportunity to take a break and get out and be free in a supervised environment. This recess is in addition to our current 25-minute lunch recess. The teachers will be working their extra recess in their schedule and this will be communicated to parents and guardians within the first few weeks through classroom newsletters.

Volunteers are always welcome and there are many ways to volunteer! Please call our front office for additional information on ways you can support the students we serve. Your support is valued!

I am looking forward to another great year of working with the students of our community and supporting them in being the best that they can be! It is such a pleasure and a great reward to be a part of this Graham Grizzly family! As always, please contact us with any questions or concerns.
