• SCHOOL BOARD MEETING AGENDA & MINUTES

    2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR (revised)

    Beginning April 13, 2021, board meetings will be held at Spanaway Middle School, 15701 B Street East, Tacoma WA 98445 and via Zoom.  The public is welcome!

    The district will be enforcing health and safety protocols as recommended by the Washington State Department of Health. As a part of these protocols, all attendees must complete a health attestation, which can be completed online through the COVID-19 self screener. This form must be completed on the day of the event, to ensure accuracy in your answers. An on-site health screening station will be available to those that are unable to access the online form. 

    Additionally, all attendees must wear a mask at all times while in the building, and must maintain a minimum of 6 feet of physical distancing from others. 

    Members of the public wishing to offer public comment should refer to the Public Comment Processes listed below.  All Commentators give consent to being recorded by participating.

In-Person Public Comment Process

    • A sign-up sheet is available near the entrance until 7:00 p.m. (or the start of the meeting).
    • Approach the microphone when called upon during the public comment portion of the meeting.
    • Speakers are asked to not reflect adversely on the character or motives of any individual, especially by name.
    • Keep your comments to three minutes.
    • Commentators will be recorded and shown through Zoom.

Remote Public Comment Process

    • Email publiccomment@bethelsd.org by noon on the day of the board meeting. Include your name, address, phone number, and the topic you wish to address.
    • Join the Zoom meeting prior to 7:00 p.m.
    • During the Public Comment portion of the meeting, you will be moved to the 'Presenter' side of the meeting.
    • Please keep your microphone muted except when called upon by the board president.
    • Speakers are asked to not reflect adversely on the character or motives of any individual, especially by name.
    • Keep your comments to three minutes.
    • Commentators will be recorded and shown through Zoom.
