I have been working in education for two years but grew up surrounded by educators. My mother was a teacher growing up and i enjoyed helping her with many activities in her classroom. That is where my passion for becoming a teacher started. This will be first year as a classroom teacher. Last school year I worked in the Title/LAP room supporting the students of our school with their reading and writing skills. I attended Western Governors University but before that attended Highline College to receive my Associates Degree. A wish that I have for my students this school year is that they see the best in themselves and challenge one another to reach their fullest potential as a student and a person.
