RCW 39.34 authorizes school districts in the State of Washington to enter into cooperative agreements between governmental agencies to purchase equipment, supplies, and services for use in the school district. Interlocal purchasing agreements allow school districts to purchase from the properly executed contracts of other public agencies.

Small Works
Bethel School District maintains our Small Public Works Roster in the Municipal Research and Services Center (MRSC) Rosters online database. Businesses interested in working with our district on projects using a roster contracting process must register at www.mrscrosters.org and select Bethel School District under Pierce County when completing your application.

Photography Process
PHOTOGRAPHY PROCESS
OVERVIEW
Bethel School District has an approved vendor list for photography services for the following classifications of photography:
- Elementary Individual and Class Pictures
- Secondary Individual Pictures Student ID Cards
- Secondary Sports, Dance and Miscellaneous Photography

Current vendors and pricing for the current school year are listed below in the Approved Vendor List links.
Photographers who are interested in providing any or all of the above photography services to the Bethel must:
- Carefully read the specifications set forth in the District Photography Contract and Specifications document. These are the district standards by which all vendors must comply in order to be an approved vendor.
- Complete and return the Photography Vendor Questionnaire. The questionnaire includes a space for listing references and a Vendor Compliance Certification section.
- Receive approval from the Purchasing Department PRIOR to contacting any schools about providing services.
- When chosen by a school to provide services, sign a District Photography Contract.
- Upon approval, submit a WA-NDPA Standard Student Data Privacy Agreement to Information Technology which will allow them to release student information for photography identification purposes.
VENDOR APPROVAL PROCESS:
The Purchasing Department will carefully review the documents submitted by the vendor including the questionnaire, references, photographic samples and photo CD and/or ASB card samples (if necessary).
The Purchasing Department will contact the vendor once they have been approved. The vendor will then be added to each of the vendor list(s) below for which they have been approved, per the due dates noted below for new vendor applications.
Process for Schools Contracting for Photography Services:
1) Verify the vendor has been added to the applicable Approved Vendor List.
2) Contact the Vendor using the contact information from the forms below.
3) That's it! Contracts and all required documents are on file with the Business Office.

Food Trucks
Food Truck Vendors
Overview
Food Trucks are becoming more popular options for school-sponsored events and for non-district facility use situations. Before allowing food trucks on district property, Food Truck Vendors must be approved by the District.
Note: Per district Wellness Policy (6700 and 6700PR) Smart Snack Nutrition Standards are in effect until 30 minutes before, during and 30 minutes after school is dismissed.
If food trucks are open to students during the day, all items sold must be USDA Smart Snack compliant.

Vendors
Food Truck Vendors who are interested in providing services on Bethel School District must submit the following to Purchasing@bethelsd.org:
- Vendor Information Sheet
- W-9
- Proof of Auto Liability Coverage, $1M per accident
- Department of Health certificate for food sales/preparation
Purchasing will review the documents and finalize the agreements and notify vendor within 30 days if they are approved. If approved, vendor will automatically be added to the list.
