• Valid WA State Teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement(s) to serve in positions applying for; 
• 4-year degree or higher and completion of a state-approved teacher preparation program.

• If already have a bachelor's degree, candidates can enroll in a 'cert only' or master's program to obtain their teaching credential.

1. Be at least 18 years of age;
2. Hold a high school diploma or its equivalent and be highly qualified by one of the following:

• Received a passing grade on one of the PESB-approved assessments; OR
• Hold an associate of arts degree or higher; OR
• Earned 72-quarter or 48-semester credits at an institution of higher education (100 level and above); OR
• Completed a WA State registered apprenticeship program; OR
• Completion of The Master Teacher Inc. Paraeducator Online Training Program: Passing percentage of at least 65% 

NOTE: Must be able to provide evidence of the above upon hire.

• Complete Driver Training Program with BSD -- upon hire
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) -- can be obtained via BSD training

• 4-year degree in Nursing
• Washington State Nursing License

• Current employees applying for jobs outside of their current employee type classification (i.e. classified employee applying for a certificated job);
• Substitutes;
• New applicants;
• Former Employees regardless of length of separation; and
• Temporary Employees

• Permanent Bethel employees
• Substitutes are not permanent employees
