Families and community members will learn about the two English Language Arts (ELA) curricula that over 35 teachers piloted across all our secondary schools during Trimester 2 this year.  At the Open House, families and community members will be able to review the curricula, ask questions, and provide feedback.

Event Details:

Date: Tuesday, March 10, 2026
Time: 5 - 7 p.m.

If you are unable to attend,  please email the Secondary Teaching and Learning Secretary, to review the resources digitally.

We look forward to partnering with you in this important work.

Student learning is at the center of all we do in the Bethel School District.

The Teaching and Learning department plays a key role in making sure students and teachers have the resources they need to maximize their potential.  The department supports assessment, professional development, career-technical education, and highly capable programs.

The Teaching and Learning department selects textbooks for students, aligns curriculum with state standards, builds professional learning programs for teachers, administers district and state assessments, and addresses parent questions and concerns about curricular materials.

Our schools offer a wide range of learning opportunities for students.  Our teachers take great pride in building their skills and knowledge to be the best they can be.

Through collaboration and dedicated effort, the Teaching and Learning department strives to deliver a world-class education for every student in Bethel School District.
