HIV/AIDS Parent Preview Information

In accordance with Washington State law and the AIDS Omnibus Act, school districts must provide a curriculum preview opportunity before a student can be excused from HIV/AIDS prevention instruction. The purpose of this preview is to give all parents and guardians the chance to review the materials that will be used in HIV/AIDS education later this school year.

You can view the curriculum independently by viewing the curriculum below. After reviewing the curriculum, you may submit the opt-out form, which is also below.

Please Note: The opt out form must be completed annually for each child in grades 5 through 12.
