“We are really proud to serve the military families who call Bethel School District home. Our goal is to make sure every student – no matter how long they’re with us – feels supported, welcomed, and set up for success while their families make huge sacrifices for our country.”

Resources
The Bethel School District is recognized as a Purple Star Award recipient by the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, in collaboration with the Washington Association of School Administrators.
This award recognizes school districts that have demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting military families and students. Purple Star school districts are dedicated to addressing the unique educational, social, and emotional challenges faced by children of military parents, such as frequent school transfers and parental deployments. By earning this designation, our district has shown a commitment to providing military students and families with the tools, support, and resources necessary for a successful education, preparing them for a bright future in higher education, the military, or a technical career.
"This recognition is a reflection of the care and commitment our Bethel staff bring every day to doing what’s best for kids.” – Superintendent Brian Lowney.
