Here are important announcements for the week of September 21st - 25th.
We will have a 4-day instruction schedule this week. Friday, September 25th is a staff professional learning day and there will be no scheduled classes on this day. Students are expected to use Friday to make sure they are caught up in all of their current courses on Friday.
September Progress Reports
We will have our first progress report of the year during this week. Students need to make sure all assignments are turned in to their teachers by Monday, September 21 so teachers can prepare their progress reports for September.
To be found as making ‘Satisfactory Progress’ for the month, students need to be passing at least 3 of the 4 current classes and have regular attendance/participation. Students who are not meeting these two requirements are considered to be making ‘unsatisfactory progress’. These students and families will be contacted in the coming days by Challenger support staff to see what help students need to get back on track. Also, students who are not making satisfactory progress will have to come to Challenger, or make other arrangements, to sign their progress report and intervention plans for the month in accordance with Washington State Alternative Learning Experience rules.
