February News for Challenger High School

Posted by JEFFREY JOHNSON on 1/31/2019 3:00:00 PM

The 2018-19 school year is now half completed! We start Term 3 today and students will begin working on a new set of classes. I urge students to get off to a great start this term by attending school each and every day and giving their best effort on daily work, homework, tests and projects! Have a great month of learning!

Bethel School District Bond--Remember to Vote!!!

Ballots are out now for the Bethel School District construction bond. This bond measure is vital to reduce overcrowding in our schools, repair existing schools, and to increase the safety and security of students and staff. If the bond is approved it will replace Bethel High School, add a new wing to Graham Kapowsin High School, finish Phase II of the new Challenger High School Campus, build 2 more schools in the district plus many more projects.

Ballots are due back by Tuesday, February 12th and a ballot box is available in the main office at Challenger. Almost 90 CHS students registered to vote this past fall; make sure to return your ballots students! If you do, there is a goodie bag for you! If students are not old enough to vote they can still get a bag by bringing in their parents’ ballots to the ballot box.

Please remember to vote; our students and staff deserve top quality facilities to learn and work in! Thanks for your support.

First Day of Term 3

The first day of Third Term is Friday, February 1st. Returning students can see their schedules using the Skyward app on their iPads (we will not be printing schedules). Students will begin their session on Friday in their Advisory class.
