Here are your announcements for Thursday, Jan 26, 2023.



10 Minute Plays: 10 Minute Play performances are this week! This year we have 3 short student directed plays all performed on the same night. Performances are this Friday and Saturday, January 27th and 28th at 6:30pm in the Auditorium. Tickets are $3 and can be purchased in advance on the GK website under payments and purchases, at the ASB Office, or with cash at the door.  

Sophomore Dance: Attention all Sophomores!!!  Our first class dance of the year is for you.  Tickets go on sale January 30 in the ASB office.  You must be passing 4 out of 5 of your current classes.  The tickets are 15 dollars each and you can bring a guest.  Guest passes are due by February 7th.  Come enjoy the fun.  There will also be a Freshman and Junior dance in the future.  Details to come at a later date.


Yearbook: Yearbook will be setting up a table at lunch to collect student life photos. This can be pictures of you with your friends, family, pets, or doing things outside of school like snowboarding or going to a Seahawks game. Look for our table in the lunchroom today! 


Multicultural Club: Interested in sharing your culture or leaning about other cultures? The multicultural club meets every Wednesday after school in room 122H.


Writing Center: Are you struggling with a Writing assignment? Do you wish your grades were better than they are? The Writing Center is open all three lunches and during study support. Even if you just need a quiet place to work--we are here to help!


Scholarship Opportunity: Seniors, if you played a varsity sport and plan to attend school this fall after graduation, you may be eligible for the $3,000 Ben B. Cheney Foundation scholarship. Visit their website at to read all the eligibility and complete your application. You can also find the link on the Career Center Canvas page under March.

ID Cards: Students, remember you should have your ID cards on you at all times and have them out and ready to show when entering the building. If you have not received an ID card or have lost yours, let Mrs. George in the ASB office know.
